is proof that Trump had knowledge of that meeting and its intended purpose, to get information on HRC's campaign that the Russians had. That was the purpose of that meeting, and if Trump knew about it, he has lied about his knowledge of it.
Its yet another coincidence in the pile that link Trump to Russia. It would be proof that Trump had knowledge of collusion. And again, it would be yet another reason Trump wouldnt want Comey sniffing around (or Mueller, for that matter). Then, by firing Comey, it 'alleviates great pressure' as Trump told the Russians.
It establishes intent for firing Comey, which would be necessary to prove Obstruction.
