accomplishments before they are accomplished which severely weakens his negotiating stance. You don't have to be a psychologist to figure out that the way you "deal" with Trump is to make him think it's a done deal, then wait three minutes for him to take credit for it then back away. Then he'll act like he doesn't care but since he can't ever admit he failed, he'll take much much less than what you were originally going to give him. Rinse and repeat. The Chinese are playing him like a fiddle this way.

Our President is lazy, easily manipulated with compliments and infatuated with "accomplishing" things, regardless of the actual score.
