him to be a second round pick after next season, to the degree this discussion is a moot point because he wouldn't be able to succeed in any capacity in the NBA or G-League.

Pursuing the dream of an NBA career is not the same thing as being drafted. Marcus Denmon, Alex Oriakhi, Ricky Paulding, Jevon Crudup, etc were drafted. They never appeared in an NBA game. Becoming a second round selection in this draft would be a disaster in terms of pursuing an NBA career.
