When/If, I read anything from the HuffPo folks

I consider the source. I realize they're writing from an ultra-left position. Probably more so now than ever. That's also why I tend to read them less now than in the past.

I don't know if the writing was accurate or not. But you determined it was a "lie" without knowing.

Rude and insensitive? Yes. If she asked for a female guard to search her in private. Absolutely, I'd consider that a reasonable request and I believe I said "if" one was available. I don't know their staffing schedule, but I'd assume they typically have one available to deal with female inmates and such.

Was she belligerent and rude? Don't know. Possibly, but that's part of being a cop. You get to deal with the lovely public. Did she fan the flames? Possibly.

And yes, I know enough to believe what I posted here. I know my opinion of it and that's what I posted. I don't think it's necessary for people to act like dicks (assuming what she claims is true) and refuse a request to be treated civilly.
