interpretations - God as patriarch and "king" hold sway huh? This interpretation of the Divine further presents a God who is jealous and petty - that holds sway too, huh? This is from a time when this God talked to people and took an interceding role in people's lives siding with the "good" guys, our guys, over the "bad" guys, the other guys. Uh huh.
