Why do you think they are pushing so hard for a big war - to eliminate that last challenge to Israeli hegemony in the region. That was the point of attack Iraq. But that one was easy. They had no army and it was flat desert and pretty easy to sell support by demonizing Hussein. Iran is mountainous and modern and they have an army.
