I think he's an egomaniacal, crass, bratty, insensitve cockbag but I'm not convinced he's hateful or malicious.

He's utterly without class and is morally repugnant, but I think he's more like a child who can't stand to not be liked than he is a megalomaniac who thinks he's omnipotent or godlike.
