and that geology has as much to do with successfully shutting down NK's nuclear ambitions as any geopolitical leader.
I do give him credit for the reapproachment efforts. I also think that's strategic on the part of NK - if they can't develop a nuclear arsenal, then they'd be wise to stop agitating their neighbors.
China holds the ultimate "trump" card. They deliver a lot of the food that NK consumes and are largely responsible for their economic survival. Trump's efforts with Chinese leaders could have increased pressure from that side.
