speculation from sports writers. Also, neither player was as young as Porter and their skill set didn't improve much.

With Jontay, he has the body size, but not quite the offensive arsenal he will need to play in the NBA. He will never play making the random 3 pt shot and just getting rebounds and blocks. All big men in the NBA can get to the rim and Jontay has not done that consistently.

I don't watch a ton of NBA basketball...but just watching the playoffs, Jontay isn't close to even a 7-8th man position right now. He would go to the G-league.
