Martin says he's open to it but hasn't discussed it with Vanleer.

Sounds like a reporter asked about it, and Martin gave a non-answer. Of course he'd be open to it. A medical retirement means Vanleer keeps a scholarship but doesn't count against our total, so if the injury is severe enough that CVL decides it's in his best interest, there's no reason not to.
