Largely through social media and Fox News a belief has arisen that possessing a stupid perspective is not only equally valid but also a benefit and such a perspective should carry an equal weight. Previously it had been the role of not stupid people to take care of and effectively govern for their benefit stupid people, but that dynamic has shifted.

It will be interesting to see if our society can thrive or survive putting such an emphasis on the value of stupid people and stupid perspectives.
