"the truth" that suits their self interest.

I no longer reflex ably believe just about anything in the press or from politicians.

Not saying they are all lying, but they have forfeited their right to be believed without proof.

That said, comey is a sanctimonious, self serving piece of garbage.

Trump says dumb things, he exaggerates, he self aggrandizes.

We need to be careful with the term "lie," lest we fall to JG's definition, which is that anything JG disagrees with or disputes is a lie. Anything poorly or improperly stated is a lie. Anything disputable is a lie. Anything unflattering to his political enemies is a lie.
