benefit post players. Lengthen the 3 second rule for example. Encourage post play. You're going to stop seeing these entirely guard based teams that way, and you don't even have to do anything with the line. If a 6'"7 6'"8 has to guard a 6'"11 guy for 5 seconds in the paint, you're going to see a a lot less guards on teams because the bigs will start dominating again. No rush to kick the ball out if the shot isn't there.
