why do people come here illegally? To commit crimes

or maybe it is

1. Find a job that pays better than where they were
2. Get various benefits through various means

Solutions

1. Make it a legal process to which employers can find employees
2. Get rid of the benefits

Instead we treat this just like a drug war and spend billions on a solution that does not work.
