In that thread, I said MU's athletic programs would be more successful if I ran the AD. Then someone responded by saying I should apply for the AD job. I then pointed out that in order to be a realistic candidate for the job, I would need to have at least 10 years of relevant work experience and those intermediate positions would entail a significant pay cut. On top of that, there would be no guarantee that I would ever get the AD job due to the university's track record of NOT hiring the best and most qualified person for high-profile positions.
