Congratulations to the wrestling program

This is a Mizzou team that doesn't get nearly the credit they deserve. They have finished in the Top 10 nationally five of the past six years (7th, 14th, 4th, 6th, 5th and 6th again this year) . Most Mizzou fans would be ecstatic if any of our other sports teams could finish in the Top 10 nationally just once or twice. And yet this team has become so consistently excellent that people have come to take it for granted. I realize there are only 80 D1 wrestling programs vs 128 D1 football programs, but to be consistently ranked in the Top 10 (and usually the Top 6) is still quite an accomplishment. I have never been a wrestler and have no affiliation with the team, but I am proud to have a Mizzou team that does such a great job of representing our university and consistently performs at such a high level both athletically and academically.

I just felt to need to add a post because I think that they deserve more recognition and appreciation than they seem to get and that is unfortunate. Go Tigers.
