7-3 over Miss State, breaking a 6 game losing streak. That was a critical game for this young team. Now we have a decent chance to take the series today and then move on to Arkansas and another shot to take an SEC series. Have to take advantage of these chances against the lesser teams in the conference, with series still upcoming with Georgia, Florida, LSU, and Auburn.

Norman went all the way, worked her way around 10 hits and 2 walks, gave up 3 runs but just 1 earned, another rough day in the field for Mizzou with 4 more errors. Still don't understand why Romaine is in RF and Kessinger is DH, shouldn't that be the other way around?

Nice to see Callie Martin back in CF, and the offense had 12 hits, even though we left another 8 runners on base.

This should be a real confidence builder for the team in a season that was starting to spiral out of control. Need to get the series win today to keep it going.
