Top tier SEC finish. Post-season awards-1st or 2nd team All-SEC for Robertson and all-freshman team and 6th Man awards for Jontay.

Ultimately injuries and attrition caught up with the team but they still showed that grit & fight of Missouri basketball in the 2nd half. The game was lost in the 1st half but the players and coaches rallied to fight in the 2nd stanza.

In retrospect, we could have used the guard from Dallas (Roberts) but wish him success st Texas Tech. Harris didn’t want to be coached. Good luck to him at NC State - but think he won’t find playing time there either.

Robertson - glad he came to Mizzou. What a pleasant surprise. Good luck wherever you next end up. Terrance - we hardly saw you this year, and you’ve got more serious things to contend with. Good luck navigating your life back on track. Jordan - not the ending you wanted but we all make mistakes. How we recover from those mistakes is what defines us.

Next year should be very exciting, no matter if one or both Porters return. Personally, I think both will return because they have unfinished business. But, that isn’t under our control.

We need help all around next year. PG and SG are the biggest needs but depth and leadership will be important.

Year 1 under Martin and his staff was a great ride. I look forward to many more great years from his crew.
