Mizzou didn't even score until Michael entered the game.

Whose fault is that? Michael's?
Where was that Illinois game played? Oh yes. Scott Trade Center. Same building where they laid a first half egg in December. I suppose that was Michael's fault for destroying the team chemistry that night as well.
One of the biggest differences was in fouls. Puryear. 5 fouls in 10 minutes 2 points. Jeremiah 5 fouls in 17 minutes. Fouls were 25 M 18 G. It started with M 1 and G 5. Suddenly there were a barrage of whistles against Mizzou, and G got to the bonus before M.
It's easy to blame Michael and CM, until you look at the facts. Clearly they had a good game plan going in. Held them scoreless for 5 minutes, then all of a sudden the D went on vacation. That's what happened. The starters stopped defending, gave up a lot of points and fouled a lot.
