MPJ instead of Cullen Van Leer.
Cullen plays hard, he plays smart. And he's limited athletically at this level.
Will MPJ be a better defender than Van Leer? Most likely.
Will MPJ be a better offensive threat than Van leer? Most definitely.
Here's who we had ready besides MPJ for this weekend:
1. Geist
2. Roberston
3. Barnett
4. Puryear
5. Tilmon
6. Jontay Porter
7. Nikko
8. Rau
We need all the help we can get. The GREAT thing about MPJ is that since we've only got 7/8 guys anyway, we're thin pretty much everywhere. MPJ can sub for just about anyone on the list if they get tired or in foul trouble, except for maybe Geist.
TIlmon gets two fouls? Sure, let's play Puryear and two Porters.
Geist isn't on the floor? Sure, let's go Robertson, Barnett, MPJ and two bigs
Barnett struggling? Geist, Robertson, MPJ and two bigs.
This doesn't make the Tigers invincible as they still very clearly have their flaws, but this is a good thing.
