On the public image front, he is the one that wins. There have been so many mean spirited comments hurled at him and his family about the delay it is a no brainer. It silences the garbage comments about him just trying to fleece Mizzou for the surgery.

On the court. if he plays 70-80 of his capacity, with all this time off, it will be a huge splash for the whole team.
