Maybe BLM isn't taken as seriously because they are just thugs protesting a virtually non existent problem that blacks themselves can rectify.
Maybe no one takes BLM seriously is because they are just a bunch of whiny LOOK AT ME victims who want redress for grievances that are grossly overstated, and often manufactured. "Hands up, don't shoot," remember?
Maybe no one takes BLM seriously is because they are a violent group of alleged victims of an imagined oppressive society, whose laws and mores they choose no to conform to.
