Not saying you said these things, but there are lots of posters who just spout the pessimistic narrative no matter what it is. What came out yesterday is the tip of the iceberg. There is a chance that this investigation changes most everything corrupt about college basketball. Personally, I thought there was a chance that so many schools getting popped that it would allow the scrutiny to be dulled. However, AZ was the lone news on a quiet night, and the outrage was thick, and the Bilas's of the world are going to feel it too. We are in unchartered waters, we don't know what's going to happen. With the FBI controlling the drip, the NCAA has little choice but to act since the FBI is finding and broadcasting the charges. I agree the NCAA is impotent at best, but once the investigations and interviews other transgressions could be in store. Again, we don't know. Lots of possibilities out there. Parents getting paid, parents getting jobs, massive cover ups with the underage sexual assault/ satuatory rape last season, complicity between prosecuting attorneys and plolice department in delaying action so kid can play, etc etc etc. There is a lot for the NCAA to redeem themselves on in Lawrence.
