always have people that look like you in supporting roles and never be the "superhero".

It wouldn't seem like such a big deal to me, but I've never been in their shoes. I like to try and empathize with others and see things from their standpoint as much as possible.

It seems to me like this is one of those times I can pretty easily let them have their fun & enjoy it. If it is a great joy for them, or is inspirational, great. If it was overhyped and not such a big deal, that would be too bad, but it wouldn't adversely affect me... even if it did, I wouldn't mind going out of my way some if it was of benefit to someone else.
