the Steele dossier.
Steele lied to the FBI. this is not in question. The problem for the FBI is the timeline of events makes it clear that at some point after the original FISA warrant the FBI knew he was lying yet they continued to tout his credibility (instead of his sources credibility) and they continued to say the Yahoo article was independent of Steele's work when in fact Steele was the documented source of that article (circular confirmation)
the FBI's failure to list the actual end client for the dossier was more a lie of ommission if you want to go there but in any event they concealed material information that was mitigating information to C. Page.
