We cant have anyone take a tougher stand on one's ability to get a gun because the NRA will 'primary' any Republican who backs that plan.

We could probably get minimum sentences passed, but Dems will say it targets minorities.

No, we cant have it both ways because of our flawed political system. Still, most Americans want this.
