front of me has a shirt that read "Missouri, the taint of the Midwest".

I asked the guy, "If Missouri is the taint what does that make kansas?". He kind of had a confused look on his face like he didn't understand, so I said "kansas is right next to Missouri, so if Missouri is the taint, there are only two things kansas could be. You do know what a taint is right?".

That just lead to more insults going back and forth but it never escalated past that.
