The money was needed to fund the military.

But funding the military only would have been seen by idiots, socialists, millennial and other sillipeople as .... OMG, neocon.

Can't have that.

It would have never passed. The military would have suffered.

So paul is right. The Rs are, as we have said many times, cowards and weaklings. But i can understand how an otherwise fiscal conservative would have held his nose and voted for this.

The answer is term limits.
