though my original point, that there are people above the law in The Club. And that he would need respect from them, which of course has nothing to do with the law.
You see, the real issue is he now knows plenty of what we don't know about that group (though certainly not all). Whatever nonsense he's pulled, he can figure out or already knows what they've pulled as well and won't go quietly.
The key is to keep as many people riled up about it while the real work of obtaining and controlling the levers of power go on unabated.
