in a serious bind. Their claim is essentially McCabe lied under oath about the dossier's significance. If that's true, how are we to believe the FBI acted properly in the rest of the investigation?
Also, this nonsense about Papadopoulos being investigated before the memo is nothing. If there was significant evidence of wrongdoing by Page or Papadopoulos then the dossier wouldn't have been needed at all. Also, one doesn't excuse obtaining a warrant under false pretenses. Think about all of the names unmasked due to the FISA warrant ... whoops.
