from East St Louis and some who were Lincoln High graduates. I'm glad he got the job and the big contract.
Having said that it's safe to say the hype hasn't matched reality. Top 4 scorers vs Auburn were a grad transfer and 3 of Kim's players. The oldest Porter being injured is a big factor but it seems reasonable to expect more from the rest of Cuonzo's freshmen.
In the category of what might have been Hoiberg is probably gone after this year with the Bulls struggling. I watched a few Iowa State games when Hoiberg was there. Hoiberg was the guy coaching that offense. I'm sure the assistants had some input but make no mistake that was Hoiberg's team. Cuonzo = good coach and good person. Hoiberg = home run hire and good person.
