that's the logical conclusion from the "texts" - it wasn't that they had pre-ordained that she wouldn't be prosecuted in some sort of nefarious way. It's that rich people and power players in the "club" never get more than a hand slap and rebuke. Remember when the one guy removed classified info and carried in his briefcase? Nothing.
