2 things, they came here legally and went through all the red tape associated with coming here (they offered that detail over the years) and resent people who break the law. Yes, I know that is anecdotal.
The second is man, you talk about momma ruling the roost. Ain't one of them kids got the guts to even look sideways at her if she says to do something or to stop doing something. Very impressive.
