It matters not if we have had a human on Mars....
SCIENCE says we can collect data without a human presence. As such, the 1st Mars Rover landed on that planet in 1971 (albeit not very successfully..because it was Soviet) The US has had an almost constant presence on Mars since 2004.
Do you think those Rovers detected any indication of a huge wind storm on Mars? Do you think that only a human would have been able to detect wind events?
