the GMF board has unanimously elected Dr. Karen Donfried to be GMF’s next president. She will assume the position in April.
Donfried currently serves as the special assistant to the president and senior director for European affairs on the National Security Council at the White House. In this capacity, she is the president’s principal advisor on Europe and leads the interagency process on the development and implementation of the president’s European policies.
