They knew it was bogus,, but used it for an insurance policy. to stop the evil trump.

They went all in, got the wiretaps, and then to their surprise they found nothing.

Now, it's a race to cover it all up.

None of this happens without the "support" of Obama, senior management. Everyone jumped on board, knowing that the bosses weren't going to punish anyone for it.
