“I would say (his improvement) is pretty unique," White said of Barnett, who played just one semester for Mizzou last season, and is now a senior for the 11-4 Tigers. “I haven't done it for a long time, but no one pops in my mind in terms of a guy who's done it like he's doing it. He's a different guy. He's been a good player of course, and you had to scout for him and pay attention to him. He was a solid SEC player. But now you're looking at him differently.
"He's 6-7, sprinting into jumpers, he's elevating 30 inches and he has a high release. The percentage he's shooting at is really good, and he hit some hard ones against us that were very contested. They do a good job of getting him into spots. He's playing with a really high level of confidence.”
