Did not THINK he would win

The word on the street was that he got in the race to increase his chances to sign up again with ABC for a TV show. But his smarmy - who gives a fck, devil-may-care schmaltzy - pitch appealed to some and his racist xenophobia and false promises appealed to enough of the economically displaced that with some VERY crafty engineering by Kelly Anne and an easily demonized opponent found himself in a job he is so woefully unqualified for that he spends more of his time playing golf and watching TV than doing the job.
