Which does fall on the coaching staff to a large extent.

Not all of it does, though.

Witter hasn't fumbled all year. He's been an extremely reliable player in that regard. But he coughed it up and it ended up as 7 points for Texas. That's not on the coaches.

Okwuegbunam's fumble was a good defensive play.

The penalties on the opening drive were the ones that really killed us. Made us play from behind from the start, and their punter didn't make that easy.
