Someone PLEASE EXPLAIN the following?

Please respond to each question and be nice and logical. Otherwise I'll take it that you're braindead moron.

1) Why do all the Mizzou fans on here think 7-6 was a great season? Consider we didn't beat one single team with a winning record or even 500. Considering the recruiting class was filled with 2 star guys and basically no one from our own states top 10. How was this a great season? Also cosnider Barry coaches defense and his defense was shreaded week after week including Missouri State. Lastly considering he lost the meat and potatos of his staff. Again someone explain how this was a great season. Oh and we might lose our best player and Barry has recruited NO ONE over two classes to replace him. Please someone explain!

2) How do you ignore that Missouri kids and Southern Illinois kids have decided against the Mizzou program under Barry? Why do you ignore this? When Missouri wins its with a combination of 2 and 3 star guys from other states that pan out, mixed with some of the best players from Missouri and Illinois. Now we're getting NONE of these players. This doesn't sound alarm bells?

3) Why does Mizzou spend nearly 200 million dollars to upgrade football facilities since joining the SEC yet, when your legendary coach retires, you hire the least experienced, lowest paid coach you can find? Does this make sense? Would we rather have updated field for 200 million or a coach who can coach and the highest level and recruit the best players for a fraction of that money? Why spend 200 million on facilities if you're NOT going to go after the BEST POSSIBLE coach you can find? Does this make sense?

4) Explain the committment we have to WINNING around here? Do we want 7-6 seasons or every season be at the very least the dark horse to win the EAST? We're not a dark horse we're a laughing stock. It doesn't matter that Tennessee is worse off TODAY... they have 100,000 fans at games, they just like Arkansas, Florida, and everyone else in the SEC will pay whatever it takes to find the WINNING COACH. Why is it that all those coaches after better records than Barry over the last three seasons yet they're all fired, while we sit around and hail Barry for going 7-6. Are the standards really that low around here?

5) Does everyone around here just accept we can't win a national championship? Does everyone think we will never win an SEC championship? Should we really spend 200 million and have the lowest paid coach in the entire league and hope for the best?

6) Doesn't even one person around believe when even the lowest paid coach in the SEC is still making over ONE MILLION DOLLARS he should win on the field and recruiting? I could care less 1 million, 2 million or 10 million shouldn' they WIN! A high school football coach probably makes 10k Barry makes around 2 million shouldn't we EXPECT he WINS? TWO MILLION DOLLARS! I promise you there are 10 times the coaches in smaller leagues who would KILL to make 2 million and work their asses off to keep that job.

7) Why should Mizzou constantly be AFRAID to HIRE the coach who might think of Mizzou as a stepping stone? If a coach comes in here and goes 11-1 and then he's got offers from the top 10 programs isn't that the situation we want to find ourselves in? Having found a coach that other schools want to throw 7 million at ??? Why are we afraid of this approach? At the very least our school gets the PR, and if anything else a CRACK at retaining the guy!!!!!!! WHY IS MIZZOU AFRAID TO BE GREAT?

8) Why should Mizzou fans not think hey we can be the next Alabama? We have a bigger state! We're building a football only facility for players. We're in a bigger media market (KC and STL). Hey we have cool uniforms, great school, lots to offer and we're playing in the SEC!!!! Why would any four star guys want Indiana, Purdue, Kansas State, Iowa, over playing on the biggest stage??? Why do we lose these players to those teams? We have more to offer than all those schools but we have this mentality that we can't be great!

9) Why can't Mizzou be BOLD? Okay whatever Barry comes back next year so does Lane Kiffin. After next year with the opening of the new football facility we can't be bold and grab a MEDIA MAGNET like Lane Kiffin? Why can't we offer 4 million a year at a coach will will wake up the national MEDIA in a HUGE way. A coach who recruits will want to talk to, someone who is brash, arrogant, and loves to compete and win? Why can't we hire that guy? BE BOLD we have nothing to lose and everything to GAIN? Why should we play it safe, go for it. Mizzou has to put its name out there as a program that wants to go for it coaches and players.

10) Lastly why is it when you point out facts like maybe you don't want to admit ... losing record, gets shreaded week after week, can't beat winning teams, is constantly out-coached, can't recruit the state or area, there is no buzz about this program under Barry, has no back up plan on QB, has had some mild success with Pinkel players, ... why do you get trashed for it. Why can't people logically debate your points with FACTS instead of 'he's a troll' 'he's an idiot'. Is there something I'm saying that just isn't true?

When we say give no extension as Barry has no other options ... everyone seems to be going after his staff but not Barry himself. Heck if someone would take him off our hands I'd be stoked but that isn't the case. Why is then we hear people say its for recruiting, then we point out it has not helped, yet you still get trashed. Does anyone defend their position with logic rather than insults?

For the record I am a huge fan of Mizzou! I'm stoked about the basketball program. I'm happy for the womans BB, SB, and VB programs. But football funds and drives all the other sports at Mizzou. We need a leader we can believe in and I refuse to accept we can't beat Alabama or LSU or win the SEC. We just have to not accept marginal success just like all the other schools in the SEC. Nothing wrong with that.
