i've never had one turned down. never.

the judge takes the LEO's word under oath.

i guarantee you for the vast majority of the search warrants i've obtained i could have written jibberish and the judge would have signed off on it.

people act like FISA warrants have some mysterious special process. they don't. and in fact out of the like 30,000 fisa warrants issued something like 12 have ever been turned down. one of them was in this instance. that doesn't speak well of the case actually.
