How will slashing the corporate rate help the economy??

Serious question. Companies are not going to change their off-shore structure, which will still be cheaper. CEO's have already said they won't do anymore hiring . Automation has lead to smaller workforces. It will go to buy backs, bonuses, savings, and dividends.. We can talk all we want about competing globally, but the fact is we do not produce the same amount of goods for the low price that other countries do. It sounds good, but nearly impossible if you look at the production.

Also, the regulations were put in place because of the financial meltdown. People ignore that.
