Look can we be real here? Even StlToday wrote an article essentially saying he's not going to last so why hand out an extension. The guys gets all this extra positive PR for beating all these losing teams and he still lands nothing but 2 star recruits.
Nebraska fires their coach and he can't flip those Missouri kids who committed there. He can't recruit in Missouri he's totally doomed. He can't recruit in Illinois he's totally doomed. His defense SUCKS c'mon people lets be honest it SUCKED and he's a defensive guy.
The ONLY reason Mizzou won is because you have an NFL QB shreading losing teams. Please someone just admit that.
When Mizzou played winning teams we didn't score as much and our defense got KILLED! Even in the Arkansas game we had to score nearly 50 points to win because the defense master errr head coach can't stop anyone.
And now his OC leaves right at the worst time... you're trying to land recruits and he's the guy recruiting the QB that you need to replace Lock. Who's going to QB this year?? To the QB's we're recruiting losing the OC is worse the head coach.
Lock leaves this team doesn't win period.
It's TIME for Mizzou fans to strive for more than losing. We're spending 100 million dollars on a football only complex. Mizzou since joining the SEC has spent over 200 million on football.
You see what Texas AM, UCLA paid to get the coach they wanted. Sure give Odom one more charity year, but its time to think this thing thru.
If an OC leaves Alabama it doesn't matter... they're coming because of the head coach. When Mizzou OC leaves the earth shakes because our head coach is walking on think ice. It's time to move on, its' time to get a coach who is paid to WIN and WIN big. It's time to put the 200 million dollars we've invested into the stadium into use... you can't sell tickets for a coach who's not going to be successful or can't recruit 5 star or 4 star players or even guys from our own state.
Time to Pony up and stop hiring TRUE MISSOUI SONS... what a disaster. Can we do what we did for basketball and pay what it takes to get a coach who can be succesful at recruiting, and attracting top talent someone who can excite the fan base.
