Sounds hopeless....

I have been on the phone with Kansas City BBQ Society for 3 days now trying to get in touch with a decision maker or someone that can direct me to one. I have offered the services of a number of smokers that could provide food for one helluva tailgate. I have one smoker that has 10 square feet of covered cooking space and other Weber 22" kettles that can accommodate several slabs of ribs, a brisket, or turkey breasts. Some of these smokers are upright barrels that can be set up on rooftops of buildings and parking garages or overpasses where steaks can be grilled. All of these smokers have vents that can be opened and closed to regulate temperature.

I also have large chunks of hickory, apple wood and maple, miles of patio lighting strands, and a turkey fryer for making large batches of BBQ sauce. I have called and faxed letters to Ollie Gates, the folks at Sneads and Dr. Rich Davis, but I can't get anyone to even call me back.
I also called the Lenexa Bar-B-Que contest and the Grandfather of BBQ contests speaking to people on the ground at the American Royal, but no one can direct me to someone that can take action.

I decided to turn to business and called Gates & Sons, Arthur Bryant's and Rosedale BBQ. I was met with the same clueless cluster-you-know-what. I am getting from the Kansas City BBQ Society. I see the hopelessness of the victims on TV knowing that I could help them, but I can't get any guidance or help from anyone. I don't know what else I can do.
