and 2-6 from 3, which is below the team's average.

Overall, he played 22 minutes and only scored 8 points.

He could have shot below his 28% season average and we still would have won that game.

So, I wouldn't say he "saved us" from a bad loss. In fact, he's part of the reason we almost lost that game. Should not have gotten that much PT, but CM assumed it would be a mop-up game.
