I don't agree with your initial premise that it's the right of people to prevent innocent slaughter.
Perhaps it's moral to do so, or perhaps it's imperative derived from some other cause, but I would not label it a right.
I support the right of an individual to do as they wish to their own body, whether that be drink themselves into oblivion, dull their mind with marijuana, exercise themselves into fitness, or have an abortion.
Their body, their right.
Not your body? Not your right.
