Phil Fulmer: 15 bowls, 5 SEC Championships in 16 years. Won the a national title, and at least 8 games 14 times. His final seasons he went 5-6, then bounced back with 10 wins, then dropped to 5 wins again.

Since... the Vols have only won 8 games twice in 9 years.

Ron Zook took Illinois to the Rose Bowl, and got them back to 7-6 his final two seasons in 2010-2011.

Since, they have averaged 3.7 wins.

Ralph Friedgen took Maryland to 7 bowls in 10 years. After a 2 win collapse in 2009, he rebounded with 9 wins in 2010.

Since his firing, they average 4.7 wins a year

And good ole Nebraska.

Solich was 59-19, in his final season 10-3. Bowl game every year. Fired.

Callahan went 27-26.

Bo Pelini: 66-28, bowl game every year. no less than 9 or 10 wins a season. Fired.

Mike Riley took them 19-19 after that.
