a jerk. To others not in St. Louis, likely not.
Your second sentence simply justifies the feelings many St. Louisans have toward the NFL (and the owners) and not just Kroenke.
Additionally, it wasn't Kroenke just "moving his property to another market" that makes him a jerk. It was the combination of his comments about the city, the fans, his (lack of) concern for putting a good product in this market on any consistent basis and generally being dishonest and certainly disingenuous in his dealings here.
Simplify it if it makes you feel better to do so, though.
