16 team playoff projection. Taking the 10 conference champs and 6 at-large bids (the next 6 best teams, most likely from major conferences). I know some will say why not take the best 16 and forget the smaller conferences! I say it's more fun to give a few of the smaller guys a shot at a title, and it will make every conference race exciting. Besides, the major conferences will still get about 11 teams with a shot at the title...no complaining there.
Home games will be hosted through the first two rounds
Great teams would have to face off in the best postseason in sports, and the regular season would still be amazing. Every single conference championship race would have huge stakes all season. This is how I PROJECT the teams to finish and how the 16 team format would look. I envision 8 conferences in the future...8 conference champs, 8 at-large...go at it. One true champ, no complaining about schedules.
