SEC doesn't have enough bowl eligible teams to fill all 6 of those bowls. So they can only fill 5. So they will fill the 5 highest paying of those bowl so as not to leave hundreds of thousands of dollars on the table. The Liberty will have to pick a non-SEC team like Utah or UCLA.
